How the Calculator Computes Your GPA
This CAS GPA calculator follows the LSAC methodology:
- Grade Conversion: Each letter grade is mapped to the official LSAC grade value (e.g., A+ = 4.33, A = 4.00, B+ = 3.33).
- Credit Conversion: If you mark a course as using "Quarter Credits," its credit hours are converted to semester-equivalents by multiplying by 2/3.
