Kurukshetra University CGPA to Percentage
Kurukshetra University uses a single multiplier for both SGPA and CGPA. Clause 10.10 (i) of the NEP-2020 undergraduate ordinance (Scheme-B) says the multiplication factor for conversion from SGPA/CGPA to equivalent percentage of marks shall be 10, and the University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET, KUK) issues the same rule for its courses in a signed notice: Percentage = CGPA × 10.
That makes the conversion simple — a CGPA of 7.65 is 76.5% — but keep the grade bands in mind when you read it. Because O needs more than 85 marks and A+ more than 75, a CGPA of 9 does not mean you averaged 90 in every paper; the percentage is an equivalence set by the university, not your raw marks.

The official KUK CGPA to percentage rule
Rules from the Kurukshetra University Ordinance (Single Major) Scheme-B, UG programmes under NEP-2020 (LOCF-CBCS):
- Grades are awarded on absolute marks (clause 10.10). A course needs 40% in aggregate and 40% in the end-term examination separately.
- SGPA = Σ(credits × grade points) / Σ credits for the semester; CGPA = total credit points of all courses of the programme / total credits (clauses 2.9, 10.11), expressed to two decimals.
- The minimum SGPA to qualify a semester is 4.00 and the minimum CGPA for the certificate, diploma or degree is 4.00 (clause 10.5).
- The multiplication factor to convert SGPA or CGPA to percentage is 10; UIET, Kurukshetra University issues the same rule (Percentage = CGPA × 10) for its courses.

Worked example
For a CGPA of 7.65: 7.65 × 10 = 76.50%.
Going the other way, a target of 60% needs a CGPA of 6.0000, so you need at least 6.00 on your grade sheet.
